Each District will reassess all the staff and medicines for their district.
Advance Tour Calendar will be jointly prepared by the District School Health Team and concern Block Education Office and will be followed strictly. Advance Tour Calendar must be approved by the concern Block Education Officer. There will be no deviation unless there is any exceptional specific reason.
Intimation of check up dates in advance to be given by each team to Nodal School authorities and Regional Coordinator will be given well in advance.
Vehicle for each team in each district will be hired in advance so that team may proceed as per schedule.
20000 students for hilly districts and 30000 students per year in plain districts respectively will have to be examined by each team.
Hilly Districts : Almorah, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi
Plain Districts : Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar
There may be some part of a particular district can be under the both hilly and plain region. Chief Medical Offer of the concern district will be the authority of applying the condition.
The Community Mobilizer in the team will be responsible for mobilization of parents. He/ She will prepare the list of students for the treatment and re-examination. Tracking of referral cases for higher institution and the activity end report will also be recorded by him/her.
Education department will nominate one nodal teacher in each school who will be responsible for mobilizing the children. For referral purposes, if needed he/she will inform to the parents of diseased or handicapped children for further treatment. He/ She will maintain the records of such children at his level for follow up of the re-examination.
District school health team will trained the nodal authority of the school regarding the objectives and process of school health programme at BEO Office before starting the health examination in the concern block.
Each district team will submit their monthly work done to the concerned CMO and District Education officer for necessary action from their side. One copy will also be given to Regional Coordinator who will compile and verify 5% of work done at the school level and will send a compiled report alone with his verification report to State.
State Nodal Officer will review the report in the state level meeting and will give feedback to the districts for further improvements.
Each department (Medical & Education) will do monthly monitoring at district level and will give feedback to concerned state authorities.
Existing team of the district will train the new team regarding health examination for 6 working days.
